![]() ![]() I posted in CDFreaks in DVDFAB forum ('dissapointed' thread) about DVDFab's slow rip speed and ended up PM'ing w/ Fengtao about it - I sent him actual timed runs for ANYDVDHD and his 6012beta - he never wrote back after I sent the timed results to him. I tried DVDFAB 6016 with both my Buffalo drive and my patched LG(same as mbg's LG) I got 8.55 MB/sec with the Buffalo's w/ the dark knight, and with the LG it climbed slowly to 16 MB/sec after 12% of the rip and might have increased to slightly higher speeds, but nowhere near 30+ MB/sec - we both do not have daemon tools or alcohol 120 on our systems, his rip of 30+mb/sec seems unusually high, and I explained that it (dvdfab) is not dealing with bd+ and java locks (I believe) like ANYDVDHD - but still 30+MB/sec is high for a rip.I can't reproduce it I wonder how mbg is getting such a high rip speed. My Buffalo's rip w/ ANYDVDHD at 24MB/sec Max and drops to 3-7 MB/sec momentarily, with my LG and ANYDVDHD I get rip speeds of 18-20 MB/sec. I was conversing w/mbg by email about ANYDVDHD and DVDFAB and he told me about his 30+MB/sec rip speed w/ The Dark Knight, we both have LG BH08NS20 (FW EL02-05 MCSE patched for increased read speed) and I have some Buffalo BR816SU2's - we have almost the same computer systems, q6600 processors and 4GB Pc6400 memory.
